About the Role

We are seeking a candidate to work with our team as an Artwork Rights Clearance Co-ordinator. This role is being offered as an ongoing full-time position. The objective of this role is to clear all cover images for Bolinda’s own audiobooks and to request art from our publishing partners in a timely manner according to our publishing schedule and monthly deadlines.

Our ideal candidate is extremely organised and has a keen attention to detail, including excellent spelling, grammar, and proofing skills. You’ll be required to clear both cover reuse permissions and image licences as required from designers or stock libraries for the media and formats we are releasing (digital and CD audio) in our publishing program.

You’ll negotiate all clearances according to agreed ranges in place, request and download the layered files and update their status in Bolinda’s systems and/or the production schedule.

You will work with our contracts team to sign off any licences required, process all related artwork invoices with our finance team, and ensure all supplied files are fit for purpose for our designers. You will enter art credit lines accurately in our systems to ensure appropriate credits appear correctly on our final cover artwork and metadata.

You will need to update systems, check reports, manage an inbox, communicate regularly with stakeholders and work months in advance of publication to ensure all cover artwork is ready prior to publication.

You will attend daily team meetings to communicate the status of assets for covers to our production and publishing teams.

Additionally you will sign off all pre-order mock-up covers, organise refreshed covers for backlist titles or re-releases where required, arrange for titles to have TV or film tie-in data added as necessary and otherwise manage the cover refresh process in a timely manner.

Additionally, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Highly organised (essential)
  • Top communication and negotiation skills (essential)
  • A strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and operating environment (essential)
  • Enjoyment of a consistently busy workload (essential)
  • Excellent eye for detail (essential)
  • A strong commitment to thorough quality control (essential)
  • Well developed visual sense (highly regarded)

To reward your dedication and hard work, we would like to offer the successful candidate an attractive remuneration package. Bolinda strongly prioritises the personal and professional development of their employees and you would have access to ongoing training and development, with significant room for advancement and growth within the organisation.
