The Role

Nodding along? You may well be perfect for the role of Bolinda’s Library Customer Service Administrator.

Based in their Australian Head Office in Tullamarine, Melbourne, you will assist with administrative support to libraries, schools and university clients, as well as to our Customer Service Content Team.  You will be responsible for a wide variety of administrative tasks, with a focus on fulfilling our customer orders, from order keying and receipting stock to invoicing.  You will assist our team in getting ‘books on shelves’.

To be considered, you will ideally come from a bookstore or a library-based background or similar roles involving high levels of organisation, administration, customer service and support. 

As a touchpoint for Bolinda’s customers, you will go above and beyond to ensure the customer’s experience is memorable for all the right reasons. People love being around you! You will use your exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to find innovative solutions to client requirements and you will have the ability to offer solutions they may not have considered yet.

A love of fast-paced and highly dynamic working environments is a must, enabling you to effectively manage competing demands and enquiries to a very high standard, without compromising on service. You will be working to enhance client and end user engagement with our products; therefore, you will need to be mature-minded and highly personable. 

You will be comfortable using a range of technology and software programs including SAP, Slack and the MS Office suite. You will also relish learning about and using new applications as they emerge in the market and at Bolinda. 

Importantly, you will be independent and able to work well without direct supervision, with full accountability for the work that you do. Your flexible nature and ability to quickly adapt to new challenges will allow you to always bring fresh ideas to the table, with the ability to seamlessly respond to changes around you.

About You

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Have exceptional customer service skills
  • Be able to demonstrate where you have shown initiative and where this has impacted your business in a previous role
  • Be highly organised, love administration and have a high attention to detail
  • Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Be an excellent listener and communicator
  • Have excellent computer skills and a high level of proficiency in MS Office, with experience using MS Excel at an intermediate level
  • Demonstrate excellence and accuracy in data entry and database management
  • Take pride in your work
  • Be a team player
  • Have strong organisational and time management skills
  • Have a can-do attitude, and be willing to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in
