About the Opportunity

Bolinda Audio is recognised globally for producing audiobooks of exceptional creative and technical quality leading to an incredible Listener experience.

Our catalogue includes more than 15,000 titles spanning fiction, non-fiction, children’s and young adult publishing, brought to life by internationally recognised actors, authors and narrators.

As our production capabilities continue to evolve, we are expanding our UK Production Team and are seeking experienced Audiobook Producers / Sound Engineers to join our London studios for both human led while innovating in with ai voice recordings.

You will work across narrator and author liaison, studio recording, editing, post-production, quality control and audio delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Recording & Studio Production

  • Direct, coach and manage narrators and talent of varying experience levels throughout recording sessions.
  • Direct and lead AI voice or cloned voice recordings.
  • Deliver a seamless, professional and engaging studio experience.
  • Understand and practice proper recording techniques, audio processing, basic audio signal flow and sound theory.
  • Manage large projects and a high number of audio assets.
  • Operate well within a fast-paced team environment.
  • Demonstrate high efficiency and confidence working in Pro Tools.
  • Adapt quickly to changing production requirements and creative direction.

 

Post-Production & Delivery

  • Edit, mix and master audiobook projects to specification.
  • Execute sound design and immersive soundscape elements where required.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control standards and meet production deadlines.
  • Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

 

About You

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Previous audiobook, spoken-word, podcast or long-form audio production experience.
  • Strong experience recording and directing voice artists, narrators, authors or talent in studio environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of Pro Tools including editing, processing, mixing and mastering.
  • Experience with audiobook delivery standards and post-production workflows.
  • Experience creating AI voice and a strong interest and capability to work with emerging AI technologies in audiobook production.
  • Working knowledge of additional DAWs is advantageous.
  • Strong written and spoken English with excellent grammar and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative capability.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
  • A process-driven mindset with the ability to maintain high output and quality.
