About the role
Bolinda is looking for an End Processor to join our Value Added Services team.
If you are currently studying to be a library technician or are a qualified library technician and want to gain invaluable insight into the operations of a library supplier, this is the role for you.
We are looking for someone willing to multitask, at times, across several departments. This role would see you processing books and audio-books at the highest quality and according to individual library requirements. Quality and efficiency are essential elements of the role. You will need previous experience in covering large volumes of hard cover and soft cover books, an understanding of programming RFID tags, the ability to create spine labels and other labels and be able to apply a variety of library labels perfectly.
The role will see you consolidating and collecting orders from our warehouse, reading through the processing specifications for that library and processing accordingly. This may include different specifications per product (CD, MP3, Playaway & Large Print books (both hard cover and soft). You will need to follow the sample items to apply and/or create the specified labels using our template documents, possibly encode RFID tags and cover titles. Once complete, you will liaise with our Customer Service team to invoice and then arrange dispatch with our Warehouse Team.
You may also assist our Cataloguing Team with Administration work such as LA holds, checking LMS on order records, applying holds and entering barcode numbers.
We also may require you to assist by assembling a range of our audio products in our manufacturing teams.
We would naturally provide you with training and a certificate of service and reference. We currently have casual positions available.
Based in Bolinda’s head office in Tullamarine, you will report to the Customer Service and Operations Manager and join an existing team responsible for providing a high level of servicing to its new and existing library customers.
About you
To be considered for this role you must have:
High level attention to detail and take pride in your work
You will need to cover large volumes of hard cover and soft cover books
Previous experience in programming RFID tags, creating spine labels, applying a variety of library labels
Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills
A can-do attitude
